I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to replace that generic picture at the top of my blog, but today is the day! I’ve been learning Photoshop as part of my final Web Design class, and I thought this would be a perfect way to not only practice but also to spruce up my website. Hopefully, it looks a little less plain and more movie-centric now!
Oh, and my new banner is also something of a challenge. Whoever’s the first to guess which movie each picture is from, I’ll review any film of their choice (though I retain veto power when it comes to horror). Hint: they’re all on my Top 365 List of favorite films. I haven’t made it easy, though, so best of luck!
Nice diverse banner! I once went on a Photoshop course and had fun doctoring the images.
Top: Lilies of the Field, Awakenings, Eternal Sunshine, Sound of Music, Mr. Holland’s Opus, Tom Hanks in Sleepless in Seattle?, Tarzan.
Below: don’t know, Eternal Sunshine of the SM, Whisper of the Heart, Robert Downey Jr in?, Aliens, don’t know
The icons are from Star Wars, LOTR and Capt. America
I got fooled by the hair. not Eternal Sunshine, instead Elizabethtown
Ah, good catch! You got 11 out of 15, which is pretty darn good. The Tom Hanks one was from Cast Away, and Robert Downey, Jr. from Heart and Souls. Bottom left is The Five People You Meet in Heaven, and the bottom right is Hidden. Someone else got one more than you, but I’ll still gladly take a recommendation, if you want. Thanks for playing, Chris!
Fun challenge! The Hanks one wasn’t easy 🙂 Hidden, Five People, & Heart and Souls I’m unfamiliar. Although I do know the Duffer’s (Stranger Things) and I’ve read another Mitch Albom book(Tuesdays with Morrie)
Recommendations? We already talked. Take your pick!

Very true! I think The Road Home most has my interest, so I’ll check out that one first.
